Her accolades include being recognized as a semi-finalist in the esteemed Metrobank MADE Painting competition and a finalist in the prestigious Shell National Students Art Competition and the Philippine Art Awards. Notably, her triumph in clinching the top spot in the sculpture category of the 2021 Shell National Students Art Competition stands as a testament to her exceptional skill and vision.

Among Maica’s notable works is “It Never Rains but it Pours,“ a captivating masterpiece that defies convention with its unconventional use of needles as a medium.
