“I’ve spent my entire life in the city, so the only natural pond environments I’ve seen are tiny creeks littered with rubble, with trees sparse enough to let in a great patch of sunlight. The dragonfly is represented as a mythical figure who can travel between realms; every pond and creek finds the same flittering dragonfly. In these pocket worlds away from my urban familiar, I’d like to be a wild koi, in a clear stream filled with rubble, branded by the sun, peering through the water at a dragonfly.”

Jade believes that Art should excite people ..“It should be a reason for us to communicate, and to have a sense of community with one another. A means to motivate and uplift our spirits, to create more. It’s a gift to humanity. I can’t imagine a world without Art, she explains. Her flexibility in terms of subjects gives her the ability to transcend from the representational to the non-representational, from the terrestrial to the small worlds she creates on canvas She paints abstract compositions that delve into the mysteries of her own observations Her goal is to create a visual language that would cut across barriers by employing an array of shifting colors, irregular lines, and various random shapes to convey unconscious thoughts and solicit an emotional response. Some of her other works look into our deeper psyche, trying to make us discover what is innate and unconscious, unraveling what’s already within us ..“It’s like a non puzzle puzzle,” Jade suggests,“I would like people to decipher meanings, depending on their worldview Creative Expression, she adds, is a carefree, joyous way of moving through the world It’s a form embarking on an adventure of self discovery and boundless celebration, complete with a kaleidoscope of shapes, a riot of color, and a precarious sense of equilibrium. No More Lines is an attempt to preserve the moment of a spiritual flight empowered by the gifts of being young, carefree, and innocent echoed in a world where the privileges of broad intuitive strokes flow freely on the picture plane using colors of no rules but only of rhyme. The composed fluidity culminates at the gaze which almost abruptly breaks on approach as if to protect that hidden world from any threats of barricading.
