Christian Regis

Christian Regis, the distinguished Filipino visual artist, has become a captivating figure in the art world, garnering the attention and admiration of art enthusiasts, both local and international. What sets Regis apart is his unique interpretation of Manila’s historical landmarks, streets, and structures. His artistry has been prominently featured in various solo exhibitions, including “Lights and Silhouettes” at New World Makati, “Abstraktika” at the Ayala Museum, and “Colorful World of Regis” in the United States, among others. Beyond his solo ventures, he actively engages in group exhibitions and solo showcases throughout Manila. Currently, Regis is immersed in a residency program located in the picturesque Tuscany, Italy.

Over the years, Regis has tirelessly refined his artistic technique, gradually evolving from the swift brushstrokes reminiscent of traditional Mabini art to a hybrid, contemporary methodology uniquely his own. His art possesses a universal appeal, resonating with both the older and younger generations of Filipinos, whether they reside within the Philippines or abroad, all seeking a deep and authentic connection to the unmistakable “Manila vibe.”
