Contemporary Realist Painter/Artist

Xander Calceta is a contemporary realist painter/artist who lives and works in the Philippines. His main medium is oil painting. His approach and style are versatile wherein he paints in a manner of contemporary impressionism, and varies from Naturalism to Hyper Realism. From time to time, He does Non-representational paintings and Assemblage arts.

Xander is an active member of Arts Association of the Philippines. He was also a member of The Saturday Group of Artists. He was a finalist in the AAP Annual Art Competition and semi-finalist in the ECCA Abstract Painting Competition and an honorable mention in the GSIS Arts Competition and PhilPost Arts Competition.
