Salvador Ching

Salvador Ching is a full-time multi-awarded painter, installation, and performance artist with a degree of Fine Arts, major in Painting, at the University of Sto. Tomas.

Throughout his career, he had 15 solo shows to date, some of which held in the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Dela Salle Art Gallery, Bulacan Museum, Big&Small Gallery in Megamall, Boston Gallery in Cubao, Art Verité in Serendra BGC, and the USA & Secret Fresh SIXINCH Gallery Ronac Art Center in San Juan, Mandaluyong City.

Aside from solo shows, he also represented the country in various international art competitions, trainings, and workshops. Among these include the 3rd ASEAN Youth Painting Workshop & Exhibition in Indonesia, Asian Biennale Art Exhibition in Havana Cuba, Bangladesh, Seoul Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, China, and the USA.

His expertise and experience in the arts also landed him several invitations as a resource speaker for events such as: the Sining sa Eskwela and CCP – UNICEF Art Therapy Workshop held in various provinces in the Philippines under the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the “Art for Wellness Program” Career Executive Service Board (CESB), as well as Project HeART: Art Therapy Program by Metrobank Foundation’s Metrobank Art & Design Excellence – Network of Winners (MADE – NOW).

Aside from his art career, he is also actively participating in various art organizations – including working as the co-founder of Bahaghari ng Malolos, former Vice President of the Art Association of the Philippines, former Vice President of the Lakan Sining ng Bulacan, and a member of The Saturday Group of Artist and the Association of Pinoy Print Makers.

Currently, Ching is working as an Executive Committee Member for the Committee on Visual Arts of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) from 2020 to 2022.

We are open from Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6pm. Sundays by appointment only. We are closed on public holidays.
