Rodel P. Bautista Jr.

Most of his works are multidisciplinary and focus on cultural identity with social and environmental awareness. His experiences working with multi-cultural environments as an art form awakened his senses, inspiring him to venture on studying different cultures and making use of them as a point of comparison with his own. He is currently embrassing abstract forms to express artistic freedom by combining traditional thinking and modern art-making processes. 

The Metal Reef series was his first exploration in modern art, wherein he uses vivid and metallic colors over textured surfaces. He is currently balancing both his day job as an art instructor and his passion of creating art pieces that leave something to think about.
