As the eldest of six children in the Portodo family, he developed resilience and determination that fueled his artistic endeavors. Graduating from the Architecture department of Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U), Renwil’s artistic vision encompasses both personal introspection and a relentless pursuit of social and political truths. His brushstrokes are a captivating symphony of colors, textures, and emotions, inviting viewers to question their own perceptions and embrace their shared humanity. Renwil’s dedication extends beyond his own artistry as he imparts his wisdom and techniques to aspiring artists through the Museo Iloilo Summer Art Workshop.
