Raisa Que
Visual Artist
Raisa Que (b. 1991) is a Manila-based self-taught visual artist. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts from De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, she cultivated her artistic talents and passions. After a painting hiatus following her first job, the lockdown during the pandemic reignited her creativity, propelling her to refine her technical skills.
Raisa draws inspiration from her sincere admiration for life’s subtleties, which can be simple yet profound, contingent on interpretation. Classical music serves as a potent influence, enriching her creative process. She finds resonance in the ordinary – be it everyday objects, human interactions, or activities. Through intuitive transformation, Raisa’s vibrant imagination materializes as radiant illustrations. Her art showcases recurring lines, shapes, and forms accentuated by color and texture. This opulent yet harmonious approach captures a delicate equilibrium within her compositions.
