Norlie Meimban
Norlie Meimban is a Filipino visual artist, curator, and former animation professional, known for his strong artistic foundation and contributions to both local and international art scenes. His work reflects years of dedication, discipline, and creative exploration across different forms of visual expression.
A graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in Painting, Meimban has actively participated in various exhibitions and curated shows both locally and internationally. His works have been exhibited in countries such as Austria, France, the United States, and throughout Southeast Asia. With 22 solo exhibitions including one in Vienna and numerous group shows in well-known Philippine galleries, his presence in the art community remains strong and consistent. In addition to his exhibition history, Meimban has received awards in respected competitions such as the Metrobank Annual Art Competition and the GSIS Art Competition. Before becoming a full-time visual artist, he spent nearly 12 years working in one of the top animation studios in the Philippines, an experience that continues to influence his creative approach.
Today, Norlie Meimban continues to explore new ideas and techniques in his practice while remaining committed to sharing Filipino artistry with a broader audience.
