Nesty Ortiz

Nesty Ortiz is a devoted single father passionate about God and His creations. As a child, he was characterized by his high activity level, fearlessness, and diverse interests, making it challenging to determine his life’s path due to the simultaneous activity of both hemispheres of his brain. One thing is certain: he is not drawn to the ordinary and harbors a profound compassion for the marginalized.

His plans revolve around science, art, trade, and performance, leading him to pursue a Fine Arts degree with a Visual Communications major at the University of the Philippines to capture all his future concepts. During his college years, he actively engaged in performance art and initiated his event production business at 18. As a versatile professional, he delved into various industries, including advertising, entertainment (theater/tv/film), transportation, architecture/construction, education, and the food industry.

A notable artistic experience was his participation among 28 Filipino artists who underwent rigorous training at Landmark Entertainment Group, contributing to designing the first theme park in the Philippines under Am Trust Holdings. This group provided him with the opportunity to showcase his art in an exhibit at Glorietta Mall, Ayala Makati in 1994.

With an active professional presence locally and internationally, Nesty embraced contentment, returning to the Philippines for early retirement in the last quarter of 2015. He chose a quieter life with his family and initiated community work as a humble way to give back and pay things forward.
