Millet Sacerdoti
Millet Galeos-Sacerdoti is a self-taught Filipino visual artist whose work combines abstraction, psychedelic influences, and richly textured surfaces. Born in Pasay City and raised in Paco, Manila, she grew up in a family steeped in both professional and artistic pursuits, beginning her own creative journey at age 12. Her early career spanned desktop publishing, stage production, and interior design, before she devoted herself fully to painting in 2012.
Her practice is marked by intricate mandalas, imagined flora, hidden messages, and symbolic patterns, often brought to life through vibrant colors and upcycled materials. Millet’s paintings have been shown widely in the Philippines and internationally, including watercolor festivals in Urbino, Italy, and her works now belong to collections across Asia, Europe, and the United States. A founding member and board director of the United Women Artists Association of the Philippines, she is also active in groups such as the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists and Artistica Ph.
Living with epilepsy and bipolar disorder since birth, Millet transforms personal challenges into art that reflects resilience and imagination. She continues to create and to support the artistic community through her studio in Tagaytay, where she advocates for accessible art and empowers younger generations through workshops and collaborative projects.
