Jürg Casserini

Jürg Casserini, born in 1950 in Thun, Switzerland, grew up in an artistic environment, with his father being a renowned lithographer. Despite his early passion for art, Jürg faced a choice between his love for artistic expression and his desire to explore the world. Opting for a career as a Consular and Diplomatic representative for the Swiss Government, he spent over four decades working in 16 countries across Swiss Embassies, Foreign Interest Sections, and Consulates General. Throughout his professional journey, he also took on the role of a Cultural Attaché, organizing numerous art exhibitions and cultural events.

Upon retiring in the Philippines in December 2013, Jürg Casserini rediscovered his passion for art, embarking on a new and adventurous path. His ability and willingness to explore new possibilities beyond conventional boundaries have led him to experiment with different materials in his artistic pursuits.
