Julieanne Ng
Born in 1994, Julieanne Ng is a full-time artist inspired by her ever-changing idea of the landscape. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Fine Arts, major in Painting at the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2017.
Her artworks involve the simplification of traditional landscape images to create more complex forms, thereby resulting in new spatial narratives and realities. Through the use of lines and geometries, she is able to navigate the world around her.
In 2018, Ng was a semi-finalist in the Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (MADE) competition. The following year, she had her first solo exhibition at Pablo Fort in Bonifacio Global City entitled “Found Rejects.”
At present, she is actively participating in different group shows in the Philippines.
