Helena Alegre

Helena Alegre (b. November 6, 1976), a former member of the prestigious Bayanihan Philippine National Dance Company, and is mostly known for her avant-garde sculptural jewelry. She is a multi-disciplinary artist who dabbles in pen and ink, sculptural avant-garde
jewelry designer, performing artist (dance) and now a visual artist. She recently began to take interest in creating paintings of atmospheric abstract seascapes. With each stroke that comes alive as an accessory to the canvas, her style becomes a detachment from all things traditional. She allows onlookers to feed one’s soul through her art, and introduces her works as an emotion that stays, and at the same time, spreads.
