“I defined the female sex in the symbol of an inverted triangle for it symbolizes the creative energy of fertility that complements the birth of humanity. In this three-dimensional platform, I conveyed the power, love, and creativity of women that nurtured me to become who I am now.”
Manila-based multimedia artist Eden T. Ocampo is a painter and photographer and has honed her video graphics skills for the past several years. She explores the many creative capabilities of digital graphics applications to create abstraction in the realm of global issues on women. Her work, in general, is about women’s great contribution to all sectors of society as caretakers of humanity, and climate, and as an incessant working force in the community. She as well portrays women on geometric triangles to epitomize the creative power of a female sex symbol as a compassionate, nurturing, and dynamic gender.”
