In September 2011, Dasco received a commission to create the portrait of Alfredo E. Pascual, then president of UP Diliman, as part of the University Art Collection. Additionally, in 2015, he was included in the pool of UP artists featured in the SiningSaysay: Philippine History in Art Exhibition at the Gateway Gallery, Araneta City in Cubao. Presently, Dasco works as a freelance artist and graphic designer. According to him, his motivation is to “commune with nature – paying respect and admiring its beauty.” He employs vibrant and subdued colors, alternating hues, and tints to create perspective and depth in his artworks. His paintings often resonate with vivid images of trees, tall grasses, and untouched forests encountered during suburban trips.
