Byron Valenzuela

Byron Valenzuela, born on September 13, 1973, in Pasig City, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, in 1996. Despite pursuing a career in advertising since then, currently holding the position of Senior Final Artist at DDB MNL, he continues to engage actively in the art scene.

In his advertising role, Byron collaborates with leading clients in the Philippines, spanning industries such as telecommunications, automotive, beverages, and more. Concurrently, he remains dedicated to his artistic pursuits, participating in various group art shows and competitions. Notably, he was part of UGMA and The 13 Artists of Innotech exhibition from July 4 to September 4, 2023. Byron also participates in art competitions like the Philippine Art Awards, where he was shortlisted in 2017, and the GSIS National Art Competition in the Abstract category in 2018 and 2019.

His involvement in group art shows for the year 2023 includes exhibitions at The White Room Gallery (DON WE NOW OUR GAY APPAREL and UGMA Ugnayan ng Sining at Teknolohiya), Gateway Mall Gateway Art Fair (August – September 2023), and The Redwood Cafe & Art SPACE (CONVERGENCE GROUP ART EXHIBIT from July to September 2023).
