Ben Cruz

Ben Cruz, born in 1954, is a multi-awarded visual artist both in the Philippines and Singapore. He completed a Fine Arts major in Advertising degree from the University of Santo Tomas, practiced as an advertising graphic designer/illustrator at the International Rice Research Institute, Los Banos, Laguna; Welltrade, Dharan, Saudi Arabia; Philippine Daily Globe, Pasig; and Singapore Press Holdings, Tao Payoh, Singapore. Since 1983, Ben has managed to create award-winning paintings even while pursuing his professional graphic design practice.
