Contemporary Art In The Philippines
Imahica is an independent gallery that exhibits contemporary art and is one of Philippines’ newest venues.
Our Mission
Imahica Art Gallery focuses on both emerging and established artists and contributes significantly to the range, experience, and understanding of new art collections or investments in the Philippines and throughout the world. We foster collaboration and build relationships with artists from all over the world to produce exhibitions, off-site projects, residencies, and educational opportunities. Each of these interconnected programming strands is distinct in terms of scale, duration, location, and purpose, with the goal of challenging our relationship with contemporary visual arts. The gallery hosts a variety of one-of-a-kind contemporary exhibitions, shows, exhibits, meetings, workshops, tours, and online activities that connect emerging artists with architects, lifestyle designers, real estate markets, hoteliers, and art collectors.
Key Philosophy
Our activities are primarily educational in nature. We advocate for the broadest possible range of constituents by promoting knowledge, understanding, and debate. The community platform features lectures, multilingual guided tours, youth programs, and art enthusiast workshops. Through engagement with contemporary visual arts, we emphasize the value of personal experience, celebrate creativity, and pique an interest in knowledge.
The gallery space, which is located on the corner of Lee Street and Shaw Boulevard in Wack-Wack, Mandaluyong City, is fully accessible and open to the public, with many of the programs being provided for free unless otherwise stated.
