Despite her lack of formal training, Jinky’s innate talent and unwavering commitment have propelled her to international recognition as a distinguished watercolor artist. Her portfolio showcases a remarkable versatility, effortlessly spanning genres such as still life, landscape, portrait, and abstract art, each piece imbued with a unique blend of emotion and imagination.
Throughout her journey, Jinky’s artistic evolution has been punctuated by numerous exhibitions, including six solo showcases and an impressive array of local and international group exhibitions spanning the globe since 2015. Her captivating compositions and skillful use of color have garnered acclaim and admiration from fellow artists and enthusiasts worldwide.
In 2021, Jinky’s talent was further affirmed with awards from prestigious competitions such as the IWS Singapore and IWS France Pyrenees watercolor exhibitions/competitions. Additionally, her consistent excellence was recognized at the International Fine Arts Movement (IFAM) of Malaysia’s International Competition and Exhibition, where she secured top honors for three consecutive years since 2019.
Beyond her individual achievements, Jinky has emerged as a pioneering figure in the watercolor community, serving as a Founding Member and former President of both the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists and the International Watercolor Society Philippines. Her leadership has played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration among artists and advancing the appreciation of watercolor as a dynamic art form.
