Gari Lopez
Gari Lopez a native of Plaridel Bulacan. He has always wanted to pay homage to his parents and those hardworking individuals engaged in farming through his art. The texture in Lopez’s artworks are representations of furrows in the ground made by a plow. The swirling motion and the fingerprint like images represent the seemingly endless cycle of preparing the land for crops. The artist wishes to convey love, freedom, hope, dreams, positivity and many more through use of textures, colors, movements, and images.
