Edwin Ladrillo

Edwin Ladrillo is an award-winning artist based in the Philippines whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. His distinctive figurative works often depict characters playing in the darkness and in light. Ladrillo creates in traditional style, employing his own techniques that are inspired by the classical masters. In his artistic process, he favors oils on canvas.

He finished his studies in Bachelor of Fine Arts in FEATI University, Sta. Cruz Manila. Won over 20 awards from the year 2000 up until 2022. 1st placer in 2018 National Museum and Archive Painting Competition, 2nd placer in both 1st and 2nd Tarlac Painting Competition, and also 2nd placer in 2013 AAP – Nude on the Spot National Painting Competition, 1st and 3rd placer in 2021 and 2022 Galal Kalalangan Aslagan National Art Competition.
