Maxine Syjuco

MAXINE SYJUCO (b. 1984) is an internationally-awarded artist and poet. Selected as Philippine Representative for 2021’s Experimental Art Festival in Greece, Maxine’s art is described as ‘neo-surrealism at its best: haunting, dream-like and brutally beautiful’.

Maxine is a recipient of The Independent Music Awards in New York, and the Magnum Photography Awards in London. She was recently featured on the cover of India’s ‘International Gallerie’ Art Publication — a bestseller in TATE London, The British Library, and the MoMA.

Her art has been acquired by auctions, institutions and museums worldwide, including the Central Bank of the Philippines, and the Tokiwa Museum of Japan.
