Born and raised in the United Arab Emirates, Filipino-British Visual Artist Dame Matibag is known as an innovative creator. Her journey into creativity traces back to sketching during her childhood. Her artistry didn’t stop there, the budding sprout of her creativity transformed and evolved into an eye and passion for abstract painting. Matibag’s boundless creativity and innovation allows her to explore unconventional designs of lines, shapes, and textures, adding her own personal flair that ensures each artwork to be unique. 

Matibag’s work is characterized by gentle hues, soft tones and a keen sense of rhythm. Matibag works primarily with acrylic paint, bringing out its innate versatility to its fullest potential.
