Yolanda Batara

Yolanda Batara, a self-taught painter, poet, and musician originally from Marikina City, has a professional background as a Sales and Marketing Specialist. Having previously worked in Japan and California, USA, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (Cum Laude) with a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Computer Technology from P.U.P. She further pursued her education with a Master’s in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and attended an Art Workshop at the University of the Philippines.

She is passionate about conducting art workshops, including initiatives like Brigada Eskwela of DepEd. She is actively involved in various art groups, holding positions such as Vice President for Internal Relations in the Philippine Pastel Artists, Inc., Secretary in Art Wednesday, and affiliations with Filipino Portrait Artists Guild, Inc., Dynamic Art Group, Kasibulan, Artists In Resonance, and Art Association of the Philippines. In her previous professional roles, she worked as a Desk Layout Artist at Advance Screen System and an Art Designer at Arianna Designs.

Yolanda reflects her gratitude in her own words, stating, “Painting God’s creation is my way of thanking the Lord for giving me skills and talent. I will use the gifts I received to teach and share love with others.
