Metal Sculptor

Bataan-based Filipino Artist Ram Mallari Jr. has Architecture as his Tertiary education. Though discontinued on his schooling, overseas opportunities for Middle East was a prime choice considering his mastery for two decades in metal fabrication and construction.

Year 2011, it was the alignment of an accidental artist, Mr. Mallari whose development and execution were mixed media and discarded materials, stretching the curiosity from a local radio interview to new heights pushing International scopes both Television and Radio.

2013, Mr. Mallari and the embodiment of his modern vintage industrial masterpiece called “Steampunk Art”, has struck a 10ft monumental sculpture by the Ayala Nuvali namely, “The Last Tree” (2013). It was never-ending, and years were achieved with more International Exhibits. Science and sustainability workshops were done around Singapore, Taiwan and Hongkong a year after he embraced steampunk.

He then was chosen to be the “First” Filipino Artist to be featured as the Front Cover for World Sculpture News (2015) . His works are being celebrated as a symbol of Integrity and Perpetualism, expressing on a series of Monumental Sculptures for the 500th Anniversary of the Philippine National Police. Translating in a monumental Lapu-Lapu Steampunk Sculpture in front of Camp Crame General Headquarters and the “Modern Police” (2021) in par with the Lapu-Lapu as symbol of success.

A decade journey navigated through art, Mr. Mallari now aims to finish his Art Museum at Dinalupihan, Bataan. Fort Malasimbo, a suspended airship and is believed to be the largest steampunk sculpture yet known to man.
