Home to pristine scenery of nature and diverse ecotourism zones, the Philippines prides itself on the beauty of its 7,641 islands. Although tourists and locals alike remember the country for its picturesque view, Renalli remembers it for the emotions it made her feel. From witnessing the vibrant sunset in the city or the countryside to diving into the clear blue waters and enjoying the soft white sands, the artist looked beyond what her eyes could see and delved into what her heart could feel. These personal recollections led Renalli to create Las Islas de Filipinas, a collection of abstract expressionism paintings inspired by the aura evoked by witnessing the natural beauty of the Philippine Islands.
